PUBG Mobile has been known to work with a variety of celebrities and brand titles. According to an official tweet from PUBGM, the game will collaborate with Marvel Studios’ friendly neighborhood superhero, Spiderman, on its upcoming film, Spider-Man: No Way Home.
PUBG Mobile teased the crossover with a photo of a level 3 helmet trapped in spider webs, captioned “Something enormous is swinging its way into PUBG Mobile and the big screen.”
The exclusive content will be accessible in the future PUBG MOBILE version 1.8 update, according to KRAFTON, making this the first partnership with Sony Pictures. Beginning December 10, users around the world will be able to earn rare products such as collaboration graffiti by completing in-game quests.
“Spider-Man is one of the most beloved characters in both the Super Hero universe and popular culture more broadly.” The opportunity to collaborate with Spider-Man: No Way Home means that we can bring the excitement and anticipation of the film and character to PUBG MOBILE, which we’re confident our players and Spider-Man fans will enjoy,” said Vincent Wang, Tencent Games’ Head of PUBG MOBILE Publishing.
“This exciting collaboration will allow fans around the world to expand their engagement with their friendly neighborhood Spider-Man through PUBGM’s state-of-the-art gaming experience – all while on the go with their mobile phone,” said Jeffrey Godsick, Sony Pictures Entertainment’s EVP of Global Partnerships and Brand Management and Head of Location Based Entertainment.
