Realme X7 Max 5G has been announced

After several weeks of teasers and a postponed launch, Realme has finally announced the X7 Max 5G. The phone is identical to the recently released GT Neo, which is only available in China. A Dimensity 1200 chipset (India’s first), an AMOLED screen, and a triple camera configuration with a 64MP primary camera are included.

The X7 Max 5G has a 6.43-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 16-megapixel selfie camera in the left corner. Dragontrail Glass protects the panel, which also includes a fingerprint scanner. Realme has Dolby Atmos dual speakers as well as a headphone jack. Around the back, Sony’s IMX 682 64MP sensor is found, along with an 8MP ultrawide module and a 2MP macro shooter.

The Dimensity 1200 SoC from MediaTek comes with 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Realme UI 2.0, which runs on top of Android 11, takes care of the software. Realme also stated that it plans on a speedy release of Android 12 once the current version is released in the Fall. A 4,500 mAh battery with 50W SuperDart charging completes the list of features.

The Realme X7 Max 5G is available in three colors: black, silver, and black. The 6/128GB model starts at INR 26,999 ($372) and goes up to INR 29,999 ($413) for the 8/256GB trim. The first sales in India will begin on June 4th.
