To promote the new gaming platform, Qualcomm has teamed up with Razer. It has created the first Snapdragon G3x Handheld Gaming Developer Kit, which aims to provide developers with a device that has high-end graphics and is always connected.

Snapdragon G3x Gaming Platform features:

There’s no word yet on which other manufacturers will release devices based on the new Snapdragon G3x Gen 1 Gaming Platform, but Qualcomm’s Micah Knapp says the company is currently focusing on the developer community and that device launch is up to OEMs.
