Poco M3 Pro 5G design has been officially confirmed, and the main camera will feature a 48 MP sensor

Poco has officially confirmed the Poco M3 Pro 5G specification, and it matches the leaked renders we saw a week ago. Instead of running around the unit as on the standard M3, the camera island is confined to the upper left corner.

The island is finished differently than the rest of the back, making it stand out. The big “POCO” logo stands out as well, and the company is so proud of it that it snuck in a smaller “designed by Poco” underneath.

While we’re looking at the picture, keep in mind that the main camera, like the vanilla model, has a 48 MP sensor. There is no detail on the other two modules (they are throwaway 2 MP modules on the vanilla), but there appears to be some additional hardware. Perhaps a laser autofocus system?

The Poco M3 Pro 5G will be 8.92 mm thick, with the camera island almost flush with the back. The phone will be 190g in weight.

The company has previously announced a 90 Hz 6.5″ 1080p+ monitor, a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging, and a Dimensity 700 chipset. The phone is most definitely a rebadged Redmi Note 10 5G, so take a look at that for a sneak peek at the specs. The full reveal is scheduled for this Wednesday (May 19), with a live stream beginning at noon GMT.
