According to an update to Google’s Pixel Tips app, the Pixel camera app is getting a new function. This is for the Astrophotography camera feature, allowing Pixel users to snap stunning long-exposure images of the night sky or moonlit landscapes.
The Pixel Tips App was recently updated, according to 9to5Google, and it’s worth noting that this update usually occurs before Google’s biannual Feature Drop update. A clue in the Pixel Tips App suggests that a new “Astrotimelapse” option for the Google Camera is on the way. “CameraAstrotimelapseSettingController” is the name of the controller. As a result, users will be able to photograph night scenes with a moving sky in the near future.
According to the source, the Pixel Tips app will check to see if the Camera app is version 8.2.3, which should have the new Astrotimelapse feature.
Because the Google Camera upgrade may or may not coincide with the June Feature Drop, we may or may not have to wait for a Google Camera update to arrive via the Play Store.
