OOKLA: PH rises 3 spots in mobile broadband internet speeds in July 2021

The Philippines’ average mobile internet download speed is 33.69 Mbps, while the average fixed broadband download speed is 71.17 Mbps, according to Ookla’s Speedtest Global Index for July 2021.

With an average download speed of 33.69 Mbps, an average upload speed of 8.83 Mbps, and a latency of 31 milliseconds, the Philippines is presently ranked 72nd in Mobile. With 32.84 Mbps, an average upload of 8.92 Mbps, and a latency of 31 milliseconds, it is three steps ahead of its June ranking of 75th.

In terms of Fixed Broadband, the country ranks 63rd, with an average download speed of 71.17 Mbps, an upload speed of 71.22 Mbps, and a latency of 22 milliseconds. With an average download speed of 66.55 Mbps, upload speed of 58.73 Mbps, and latency of 21ms, it’s a step down from June’s 62nd rating (but with more excellent download and upload speeds).

Despite these gains, the Philippines still has a long way to go in comparison to other nations. UAE tops the Mobile rankings for July 2021, with an average of 190.03 Mbps. Monaco, on the other hand, has the fastest fixed broadband, at 256.70 Mbps.
