NVIDIA RTX 40 Series GPUs may be launch as early as Q3 2022

As early as the third quarter of 2022, NVIDIA could debut their much-anticipated RTX 40 series of graphics cards.

The report comes via 3DCenter from renowned leaker @kopite7kimi, who claims that NVIDIA’s new graphics lineup will be released in July or August. This is a month earlier than previously estimated, with a September release date.

The NVIDIA RTX 40 series is claimed to be built on Ada architecture, which NVIDIA has nicknamed “Ada Lovelace.” The RTX 4090, 4080, and 4070 are the first to be released.

The RTX 4090 would use an AD102 GPU, according to Kopite7kimi, with 24GB of GDDR6x RAM running at 21 Gbps and using up to 600W of electricity. The RTX 4080 might use an AD103 GPU with 16GB of GDDR6x VRAM and a maximum power draw of 400W.

Finally, the RTX 4070 is claimed to be powered by a 300W AD104 GPU with 12GB of GDDR6 VRAM.

Naturally, all of these speculations should be taken with a grain of salt until NVIDIA officially unveils their new graphics card lineup. What are your thoughts on the RTX 40 series being out soon? Are you excited to get your hands on one? Leave your views and opinions in the comments section!
