Mark Zuckerberg Calls Meta Staff ‘Metamates’

According to a post by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, the company is changing its values and cultural operating system, beginning with the name Metamates for his staff.

Zuckerberg expresses his desire for his employees to embrace new company ideals in his blog post. The first is Move Quickly; the CEO wants the company to grow and learn faster than any other. This entails responding quickly and not procrastinating on tasks that may be completed today. This entails accelerating the pace of their most important efforts.

The company also wants to concentrate on Long-Term Influence, which promotes long-term thinking and pushes the organization to extend the timescale for the impact it has rather to focusing on short-term gains. Meta also intends to Build Awesome Things, which means the company will focus on delivering amazing products.

The CEO also stressed the importance of Living in the Future, Being Direct and Respectful of Your Colleagues, and Meta, Metamates, Me.
