LG to to release 97-inch G2 OLED evo Gallery Edition TV

LG is introducing the LG OLED Evo Gallery Edition TV, model 97G2, a huge OLED TV.

The 97G2 OLED TV will be available globally soon, with specific launch dates to be revealed in the coming weeks. The 97G2 97-inch TV is the latest addition to LG’s 2022 OLED TV lineup, which now includes 42, 48, 55, 65, 77, 83, and 88-inch models.

The 97G2 employs self-lit OLED technology, which allows pixels to switch off or on individually, resulting in deeper blacks, more lifelike color, and improved contrast. The use of backlight-free OLED will enable manufacturers to develop a variety of television form factors, such as flexible and rollable TVs.

LG will display the 97-inch OLED TV at IFA 2022, which includes an (Alpha) 9 Gen5 AI Processor and powerful picture algorithms that provide nearly true-to-life visuals while in a cinematic view. It also features a flush-to-the-wall Gallery Design, which gives it a smooth and sumptuous appearance when installed.

LG’s newest flagship TVs, including the new 97-inch OLED TV, will be on show at its booth in Hall 18, Messe Berlin, from September 2 to 6.
