Lenovo will unveil the Legion 2 Pro, a new gaming smartphone. The phone is supposed to have a huge 5,500 mAh battery, 90W fast charging (or even 110W), and the side pop-up selfie camera introduced in the first Legion series.
The upcoming smartphone, which is set to be released on April 8, was revealed by AnTuTu’s official Weibo profile, showing the phone’s design. It will have a built-in physical fan on the back to keep the cameras in the center cool.
The Lenovo Legion’s successor retains the horizontal orientation – there’s a USB-C port on the side, next to the volume rocker, and we can confirm the selfie camera can rise from the right (or should we say the top), with the power key inside the moving mechanism.
Surprisingly, the phone’s actual design will have white sides, with the middle reserved for all the design, colors, and components to not interfere with gaming efficiency. Two cameras, a microphone, a dual-LED flash, the Legion star, and a fan can all be seen crowded into what appears to be the top step of a rostrum.
However, we believe this is an optical illusion and that the panel will be flat. We’ll know for sure after Thursday’s case, which we’ll be watching closely and reporting on whether or not these photos are genuine.
