Google is introducing the Star function to Google Tasks

Google Tasks has recently received an update that allows users to prioritize their tasks by using a ‘Star mark.’

Users are more empowered and can be more organized in prioritizing their activities or critical chores with this new feature to Google’s task manager app named ‘Tasks.’ Users can now sort and see star-marked tasks independently in a distinct or new view, according to Google. On Android, iOS, and web apps, this capability is now available. Simply tap on the shape of the star icon that displays next to all listed chores to add a star. When the icon changes to blue, the work has been prioritized.

This feature was already available in Google Drive, therefore it’s a good thing it was expanded to ‘Tasks.’ To see a user’s star-marked tasks, press on the hamburger icon, and a menu will display with the option to only see starred tasks. According to Google, the new functionality will be gradually rolled out to all workspace users, and it could take up to fifteen (15) days to emerge.
