GCash users can now access Alipay+ Rewards, an in-app feature that brings them deals and discounts from global brands

Users of the Philippines’ leading mobile wallet GCash can now access a wider range of lifestyle rewards through Alipay+ Rewards, a new feature within the GCash app that allows them to enjoy deals and discounts from global brands such as Foodpanda, Spotify, Shein, and Google, further enriching users’ digital lifestyles and meeting their daily needs, particularly during the restrictions imposed by the government.

GCash users can take advantage of the deals and discounts by collecting and purchasing digital vouchers through Alipay+ Rewards, a new digital marketing tool developed by Ant Group, the owner and operator of digital payments platform Alipay, that connects global and local brands to hundreds of millions of mobile wallet users in various markets. Mobile wallet users may utilize Alipay+ Rewards to rapidly redeem or purchase coupons from mega-brand merchants to small and medium enterprises.

Incorporating Alipay+ Rewards into the wallet gives our consumers more alternatives to enrich their digital lives and is part of our commitment to providing services tailored to their specific needs,” said Martha Sazon, President and CEO of Mynt, the company that operates GCash.

Until August 8, GCash customers can enter to win Mega Raffle prizes such as an iPhone 12, iPad Air, and over one million additional vouchers by activating Alipay+ Rewards in their GCash wallet. Furthermore, from August 6 to 8, GCash users can purchase certificates worth up to $100 for just $1. The audience is also asked to participate in the TikTok #APlus88dance challenge with Philippine actress and singer Maymay Entrata for a chance to win tempting prizes.
