Elon Musk announces he will step down as Twitter CEO

Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, has just announced his intention to step down from his position.

This occurred after Musk conducted a poll asking his followers whether he should resign as Twitter’s CEO. As of this writing, the poll has received 17,502,391 votes, with “Yes” receiving 57.5% of the votes and “No” receiving 42.5% of the votes.

Musk states that he will resign as soon as he finds a replacement who is “dumb enough to take the job.” Once a new CEO is installed, Musk says he will transition to overseeing only the company’s software and server teams.
