Diablo II: Resurrected’s early access and open beta will begin on August 14th

Blizzard has officially confirmed that Diablo II: Resurrected will be available for early access and open beta.

Diablo II: Resurrected was announced in February 2021 as the definitive remastering of Diablo II and its Lord of Destruction expansion. Despite being remastered, the game retains Diabo II’s characteristic gameplay and features, as well as a few quality of life enhancements such as a shared stockpile.

Starting on August 14, players who pre-order Diablo II: Resurrected or Diablo Prime Evil Collection for Windows will be able to participate in the game’s Early Access Test Weekend (1AM PH TIME). The Open Beta weekend will begin on August 21 (1AM PH TIME) for everyone on a supported platform, after the Early Access Test weekend.

Players will be able to try out two new classes during the forthcoming test weekends: “the savage, shapeshifting Druid and the righteous, hammer-slinging Paladin.” Multiplayer and PvP matches, as well as the full gameplay of Act I: The Sightless Eye and Act II: The Secret of the Vizjerei, will be available.
