Chuwi HiPad Pro 2022 with MediaTek Helio G95 SoC, now official

Chuwi has introduced an improved version of its Chuwi HiPad Pro tablet for 2022, which features a larger display and a faster processor.

It features a 10.8-inch IPS LCD. However, the new screen has a 2.5K resolution (2560 x 1600 pixels) rather than an FHD resolution. Additionally, it features a pixel density of 288 PPI, a screen-to-body ratio of 90%, and a color gamut coverage of 97 percent of the DCI-P3 standard. Additionally, it supports styluses powered by Wacom.

The new tablet is powered by a MediaTek Helio G95 processor rather than a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor. The chipset is accompanied by 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. In addition, it supports microSD card expansion up to 128GB. Meanwhile, a 7,000mAh battery powers the tablet.

It supports 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type-C connectivity. Additionally, it features quad speakers, an 8MP back camera, and a 5MP front camera.

The redesigned HiPad Pro will be available in January 2022 for a price of less than USD 299.
