Battlefield 2042 will be released on November 19th without voice chat in-game

Early access to Battlefield 2042 was made available, but it lacked a critical component for improving the overall gamer experience: voice communication.

According to DICE, the feature will not be included in the game until after its official release. The reason for this was not given, but the studio did state that they are working on the film and that it should be released soon—the key word here being soon, as there is no set release date.

Voice communication is always important in games, whether it’s for important information or simple role-playing—it just adds to the overall game experience. Consider using the pinging system to point out certain objectives in Battlefield 2042 instead of simply saying “Over here” or “By the window.” It could quickly become irritating, to the point where people abandon the game.

This can be mitigated by using platforms such as Discord, which allow you and your friends to join a room and communicate there, but what if you want to play alone? What about those individuals?
