AMD Radeon RX 6600 graphics card is now official

The Radeon RX 6600 is a new graphics card from AMD. The card is designed for 1080P gaming and is a less powerful version of the previously released AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT.

The new RX6600 is powered by the same Navi 23 chip as its predecessor but has four fewer compute units (28). It also has slower clock speeds and consumes less power (only 132 watts).

It includes AMD technologies like Smart Access Memory and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, among others. At launch, the RX 6600 will also support ray-tracing.

AMD claims that the RX 6600 is 23% faster than its competitor’s previous generation RTX 2060 graphics card and is on par with the RTX 3060. With AAA titles at 1080P, players can expect an average FPS of more than 60. To learn more about it, go here.

The AMD Radeon RX6600 is now available for $329 from AMD board partners such as ASRock, ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, PowerColor, SAPPHIRE, XFX, and Yeston. Beginning in October 2021, it is also expected to be available in high-performance pre-built systems from OEMs and system integrators.
