All Of Us Are Dead Season 2: Release Date, Cast, Plot and Everything you need to know

Following in the footsteps of Squid Game, Hellbound, and The Silent Sea, Netflix’s latest Korean genre program, All of Us Are Dead, puts a nasty high-school spin on zombie fare like Kingdom and Train To Busan.

All of Us Are Dead, like all of the aforementioned shows, is as addictive as it is well-made, so we’re sure you’re all itching for fresh episodes. If that’s the case, you’ve come to the correct place.

Lee Jae-kyo, the director of All of Us Are Dead, agreed, telling The Korea Herald that he had “deliberately” left room in the show for a possible second season:

“Many paths, places, and situations were purposefully constructed to expand the tale into an additional season, including the introduction of the new races of zombies,” Lee stated, alluding to the hybrid zombies seen in the second half of the show.

“If the first season was about humanity’s survival, the second season could be about zombie survival. I’m hoping to bring another season to the public’s attention “Added he.

Doesn’t it sound promising? Now is the time to gather your school materials and join us as we go through the most recent developments in this violent masterpiece.

All of Us Are Dead season 2 release date: When will it air?

Netflix hasn’t officially renewed All of Us Are Dead, but we’re confident that, like zombies, this program won’t die quickly. K-dramas usually only last one season, but if the show’s ardent fans encourage a second season renewal in the next weeks, we can expect new episodes in 2023. (hopefully sooner rather than later).

All of Us Are Dead has led the daily Netflix TV charts in dozens of countries, including the United States, as of February 7, making it the second non-English language series to do so following Squid Game. South Korea is the first country to have two programs at the top of the ranking.

Still, that renewal notice might take a little longer than usual to come. After all, the second season of Squid Game wasn’t officially revealed until late January 2022, four months after the show’s premiere.

All of Us Are Dead season 2 cast: Who’s in it?

The majority of the original cast does not survive season one, as the title suggests. On-jo (Park Ji-hu), Su-hyeok (Park Solomon), Dae-su (Im Jae-hyuk), Ha-ri (Ha Seung-ri), Mi-jin (Lee Eun-saem), and Hyo-ryung are the only ones that do (Kim Bo-yoon).

Choi Nam-ra, played by Cho Yi-hyun, is one character we can almost certainly expect to return. Unless, of course, the program tweaks things up in the future with a totally new cast.

In any case, expect to see a lot of new, blood-splattered faces in season two of All of Us Are Dead.

All of Us Are Dead season 2 plot: What will happen?

Almost everyone died at the end of All of Us Are Dead. The city of Hyosan was swiftly overrun by the zombie threat following the initial outbreak, and most of the undead were eventually exterminated by Korean military bombing.

Even if the majority of the survivors had their story wrapped up, the pandemic may possibly reappear. All it would take is one zombie to completely devastate the situation.

Then there’s Nam-Ra, who managed to keep her humanity despite the infection’s destruction of her body. She turns out to be one of many hybrids who can use the virus to their advantage, gaining additional strength and pain resistance. The difficulty is that the appetite for human flesh hasn’t gone away, so upcoming episodes may have to deal with that as well.

Nam-Ra ends up with her friends instead of the hybrids in the end of Joo Dong-original geun’s webtoon, which is obviously significantly different from the show’s current course.

However, there is a tease that the infection has now gone to Japan, which is something that season two could easily investigate, whether the show only alludes at it or the entire tale is relocated to Japan. Given that All of Us Are Dead is a South Korean production, the latter alternative is doubtful.

All of Us Are Dead season 2 trailer: When can I watch it?

All of Us Are Dead won’t infect our lives again for at least a month before the (possible) release of season two. When footage from this new chapter does become available, you’ll be able to find everything you need to know right here.
