The latest model from Nothing, the Phone 2a Plus, has been officially unveiled. When comparing it to the Nothing Phone (2a), this phone boasts an improved chipset, upgraded camera capabilities, quicker charging, and a fresh range of colour options.
The device features a large 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a dynamic refresh rate that reaches up to 120Hz. Additionally, it is safeguarded by the durable Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The phone is equipped with the latest Dimensity 7350 Pro chipset, which is an enhanced variant of the Dimensity 7200 Pro. The storage configurations available include up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Interestingly, this chipset was designed exclusively for this device. It utilises the identical cores found in the 7200 Pro model, but has the ability to reach clock speeds of up to 3.0GHz. There is no indication of any claims regarding a 10% improvement in CPU and 30% GPU performance.
The device features two high-resolution rear cameras and a front-facing camera with impressive megapixel count. In addition, it comes equipped with a powerful 5,000mAh battery that supports 50W of wired fast charging.
The phone will operate on the latest version of Nothing OS, which is built on the powerful Android 14 platform. It also seamlessly integrates with ChatGPT, enhancing your user experience. The 8GB/256GB base configuration of the product will be available at a price of INR 27,999 (~PHP 19K).
Additionally, you can purchase it for INR 29,999 (~PHP 21K) with a generous 12GB/256GB storage capacity. The release date for the Nothing Phone 2a Plus in India is set for August 7, 2024.
