The Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific and HYBE have announced a new relationship. Both HYBE and Disney will collaborate to promote and expose South Korea’s music and entertainment industries to the rest of the world.
HYBE will distribute 5 key content titles on Disney’s streaming services, including two exclusive series starring the ever-popular K-Pop group, BTS.
Disney offered us a taste of what to expect by revealing three of HYBE’s projects that will be available on Disney+. “BTS: PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LA” is a cinematic 4K concert film based on BTS’ live performance at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles in November 2021.
“IN THE SOOP: Friendcation” is an original travel reality show that will feature V of BTS, Park Seo-jun, Choi Woo-shik, Park Hyung-sik, and Peakboy. “BTS MONUMENTS: BEYOND THE STAR” is an original docu-series that follows the journey and daily lives of BTS over the past nine years.
