The vivo X80 and X80 Pro, which feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipsets, were officially launched by vivo on Thursday.
Both new premium flagships use ZEISS Optics imaging technology, promising’superb camera capabilities’ such as cinematic video shooting, enhanced night photography, and improved picture stabilization.
With the vivo X80 series comes the introduction of vivo’s proprietary chip, the vivo V1+, which is aimed to improve the new flagships’ image, display, and gaming capabilities. Through a ‘dual-processing technology,’ the vivo V1+ will work in tandem with the flagships’ primary CPU.
The vivo X80 is equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 3D curves on the sides, a 4,500 mAh battery with an 80W charging rate, and a triple back camera configuration with a 50MP IMX866 primary sensor.
The vivo X80 Pro, on the other hand, has the same 3D curved display as the vivo X80, as well as a larger battery at 4,700 mAh and a charging rate of 80W wired and 50W wireless. It has a quad-camera configuration with a 50MP GNV primary sensor and an 8MP periscope camera on the back.

From June 10 to 17, the vivo X80 series will be available for pre-order on vivo’s official website, Shopee, and Lazada. The vivo X80 (12GB + 256GB) will cost Php 45,999, while the vivo X80 Pro will cost Php 59,999 (12GB + 256GB).
