Google Maps is getting a new feature that shows toll prices to a person’s destination before they leave the house.

This new feature will display the expected toll charge to a given destination, which will benefit everyone. This was made possible thanks to reliable data from local tolling authorities in the area.
The following factors are taken into account: whether a person need a toll pass or not, what day of the week it is, and how much the toll is estimated to cost when a person crosses it at a specified time.
In many situations where the price may alter according on the selected payment method, the user will have the option to show toll prices with or without a toll pass in their Google Map settings.
Of course, the user can choose to avoid ALL toll roads if it is possible by selecting ‘Avoid tolls’ in the options. Around 2000 toll roads in the United States, India, and Indonesia are currently accessible via Android and iOS devices. There hasn’t been a local announcement yet, but Google says that additional nations will be able to experience this in the near future.
