Apple to reportedly release 15-inch MacBook Pro powered by M2 and M2 Pro chips next year

According to information acquired by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, a new 15-inch MacBook model would likely debut in the second quarter of 2023 or later.

According to Kuo’s tweet, the upcoming 15-inch MacBook may include M2 and M2 Pro options. Even earlier, the analyst projected that the forthcoming 15-inch MacBook might not be branded as a MacBook Air, although Kuo provided no supporting evidence.

In terms of configurations, the notebook with an M2 chip will be equipped with Apple’s new dual-port 35W power adapter, while the M2 Pro chip will be paired with a 67W adapter, according to Kuo and macrumors. Next month, both power adapter options will be available for the most recent MacBook Air, which features the most recent M2 chip.

These predictions may or may not occur, but Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo’s predictions about future Apple products are accurate enough to make him one of the most trustworthy sources of Apple rumors. To learn more about the analyst, please click here.
