Nothing Launcher now compatible with Android versions 11 and higher

Nothing, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pie’s new technology business, confirmed the brand’s upcoming Nothing Phone (1) smartphone a few months ago. The phone will also run the company’s own Nothing OS, according to reports.

Nothing has also opted to give users of certain devices a sneak peek at the impending Nothing OS via a custom launcher for Android phones called Nothing Launcher, which is now accessible for some smartphones in the Beta phase.

Nothing Launcher is currently available on all Android 11 and higher smartphones. In comparison to its earlier support for only Pixel, OnePlus, and the Samsung Galaxy S21 family, this is a large selection of apps.

The launcher has been updated with a few small changes, including the option to change the wallpaper quickly with an on-screen pop-up and a direct access to Nothing’s wallpapers and ringtones. With this version, a dedicated Nothing Launcher icon appears on the home screen, as well as a new set-up page upon initial launch.

Nothing Launcher features a number of customizations and tuning options, including “Max Icons” and “Max Folders,” which let users to press and hold app icons or folders to increase the amount of space they take up on the home screen.

It also includes a variety of unique wallpapers, weather, clock widgets, and ringtones, although it misses important features, like as compatibility for the Google Discover feed, which is becoming increasingly widespread on OEM Android skins.
