Starbucks is getting into the NFT business, according to Howard Schultz

Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz has said that the firm plans to enter the NFT market this year.

In the midst of a big union effort, Schultz made the revelation during an open meeting for Starbucks employees.

“If you look at the businesses, brands, personalities, and influencers who are attempting to build a digital NFT platform and business,” Schultz said during a lecture, “I can’t find one of them that has the treasure mine of assets that Starbucks has, from collectibles to entire regions of the corporation.”

He then went on to declare the company’s intention to enter the NFT market.

“So, here’s the secret – sometime before the end of this calendar year, we are going to be in the NFT business.”

More than that, no other information was supplied, although it sounds interesting to Starbucks merchandise aficionados.
